Chaincrops review

Chaincrops is a telegram clicker game that claims to be a decentralized exchange on Solana Blockchain. It’s primarily designed to allow users earn points by tapping repeatedly on their screens during the game but in my opinion, it’s not looking good at all. I say this, not due to the poor User interface and unresponsiveness sometimes but because, the mini-app lacks vision in my analysis.

Key Takeaways

  • Chaincrops is not such a convenient game to play judging from the poor user interface and functionality.
  • The gameplay is difficult and time consuming for people who have other things doing.
  • No roadmap or information about the future of the token being farmed by users so far.
  • Their token, “Crops” is said to be built on the Solana blockchain but currently, there’s been no word of confirmation from the Solana team.

There’s been numerous clicker games ever since the initial ones, Notcoin, Tapswap got launched and recorded incredible success and attention but not all of them mean well for the players. The rate at which, mini-apps are getting created on telegram is mind-blowing but it’s not a new thing.

People tend to copy whatever they see others do and from what’s happening, that’s exactly the case with the mini-apps. Under normal circumstances, it shouldn’t be an issue for players since more games mean more money, right? But the problem is that, some of these games are scam, they were launched for the purpose of milking ad revenue from telegram and other social networks with no intentions of paying anyone.

That is where our reviews come in. So in this article, we will be reviewing chaincrops; a telegram mini-app that promises players an airdrop during TGE. We will go over the various features and then the downsides for those that care to know.

What is Chaincrops, And What Does It Offer?

Chaincrops is a telegram game that lets users earn and accumulate points which they claim will be converted to Crops token. It utilizes the Solana blockchain for the future development of the token; which is intended to boost confidence in the project.

When it comes to what it offers, there is not really much to say, if you have been playing the “tap” games on telegram, then this shouldn’t come as a surprise to you and neither does it come with a special feature per say.

You still get the same set of features like ability to tap and earn points, the referral tab, the boosts tab and the tasks tab. The only thing is that, chaincrops is kind of more difficult to navigate because the tabs are not named unless you tap on them.

Referral tab

The referral tab is the second on the menu and you can earn up to 500 points for each person you refer to the game.

Chaincrops tasks

The tasks tab comprises of various tasks you can complete in order to earn more points. The tasks range from social tasks to referral tasks. When you follow the stated social media pages, you earn points and even when you refer a certain number of users, you claim some rewards hitting the milestones.

Chaincrops boost

While the Boosts tab comprises of various features that are aimed at boosting your earning rate on the game. You get to see things like Multi Tap which should increase the number of points you earn each time you tap on the coin image during gameplay. You also see the auto tap bot, though inactive at the moment and many other features; most of which are still in developmental stage.

Finally, the statistics tab which is the last and the least relevant page of them all. You get to see the total number of points earned by all the players in the game and other information that I personally count as irrelevant to average players.

How to Get Started

How to get started

To get started, simply head to telegram and click on the Search icon, type in ‘Chaincrops‘, you should see the bot and their community channel. Simply click on the bot and start conversation by using the /start command.

After which you will receive a message with an option to start playing the game. Tap on it and you will be instantly taken to the main game page. Click on the coin image repeatedly to earn points or start navigating through the tabs to either complete tasks or get your referral link.

Why Chaincrops Is Not Looking Good

As someone who’s been writing about clicker games for some months now and also reviewing platforms, I always pay attention to the little things because they end up being very significant as time goes on especially when it comes to determining if a project is legit or scam.

Personally speaking i.e. based on my analysis, chaincrops may not be legit. I’m not in any way saying you should stop playing if you have already accumulated alot of points but from the few indications I have seen, it’s certainly not looking good.

What are these indications? They range from the poor functionalities to the problem of lack of vision and roadmap. Below is a breakdown of the few unfortunate things I observed about chaincrops that are worth mentioning;

1. Poor User interface & Functionality – chaincrops user interface i.e. the main game page doesn’t look good at all. I have played various games and to be honest, this is one of the poorest or cheapest in appearance. Secondly, the app is not smooth while navigating and like I said earlier, the tabs are not well spelt out, you may have to click on them before seeing the name of each tab, which makes user experience suck.

It’s also very stressful, on the boosts tab, alot of features that would have made the game easier are lacking. The multi tap feature is down, which means you are forced to earn just 1 point per tap thus meaning you would have to tap 2,000 times to earn 2,000 points. Additionally, the auto tap bot is not available as well, so you have to tap to earn compulsorily.

It doesn’t end here, almost all the features in the boost tab that are meant to make the game less stressful are not active.

2. They also claim to be on Solana Blockchain, very similar format to what Tapswap did when they came on board at first. But there’s been no word of confirmation from Solana itself of any partnership or project like chaincrops being built on their blockchain. The Solana claim could just be to lure in users to the project and attract undeserving attention.

3. No Roadmap – chaincrops was launched on the 12th of May and since then, there’s been no official release of a roadmap about the development of the project nor the token. While this is not foolproof indication that it’s a scam, serious projects tend to release a roadmap early enough for users to know where they are headed.

Chaincrops daily combo

4. Adopting Features From Other Clicker Games – the daily combo is one feature originally introduced to the whole scene by Hamster Kombat, but many other clicker games have adopted it including Chaincrops and to be honest, this is not a good sign. Originality and uniqueness is always important and projects that tend to copy others, always underperform.

I don’t know for others but it turns me off to see projects copying the features originally created by others. It reeks of mediocrity and coupled with the various downsides of chaincrops, I wouldn’t give it a pass.

Should You Still Play the Game? Yes! If you feel like doing so regardless of what it turns out to be in the future, then go ahead. This article is not meant to stop you from joining against your wish. It’s just a critique of the game for people who care to listen.

Final Thoughts

Chaincrops is just another mini-app on telegram that yet again promises an airdrop in the future. With no roadmap, no fixed dates for enlistment of the token and the poor functionality of the app, I’m certainly not proceeding with playing the game.

There are numerous options to explore and time investment is not something one should take for granted. Thanks, share and do well to join our telegram channel for more updates.
