Gigsflix is an online task earning website that allows users earn money for completing various social media tasks such as following a page, liking posts and commenting on YouTube videos. It seems cool but in my opinion, it isn’t a worthy earning platform due to the poor earning structure and the fact that, it takes time to tasks completion to reflect.
Key Takeaways
- Gigsflix is a task earning website that rewards users with cash when they complete social tasks and also post ads on their social media handles.
- The earning structure is very poor i.e. what you can earn from completing tasks is very low, thus it will take a lot of time for a non-affiliate user to even regain the initial money used to register.
- Tasks unavailability is prevalent, the few tasks you can easily find are low paying social tasks.
- Low minimum withdrawal pegged at 100 naira and usually processed instantly upon request.
In this article, we will be reviewing gigsflix, an online earning platform that allows users earn passive income for completing some tasks on the Internet. If you are interested in making some money without much stress and was probably invited to the site by someone, then I’d say you are on the right page. We will go over various areas such as, how gigsflix works, the pros and cons and finally, my take on it’s legitimacy.
Without wasting much time, let’s get into the main purpose of writing this piece.
What is Gigsflix, And How Does It Work?
Gigsflix as the name implies is a site that provides users with some gigs for which, they complete it and stand a chance of earning some money. There is no fixed amount to earn from completing tasks as it ranges depending on the difficulty of the task.
The website was launched on the 29th of February, 2024, meaning it’s been around for some months and if you are interested in earning, you would have to prepare the initial registration fee of 1,000 naira and get your mind ready for the various tasks to complete.
When it comes to how it works, there is pretty much nothing new to discuss. You create an account, log into your account and pay the registration fee, then start completing tasks on the site to earn money.
How to Get Started
There are two ways of getting onboarded, the first is to create an account via their official homepage or you can create an account via a referral link. If you are learning about gigsflix from this article, then feel free to use erickssondgreat as referral username.
You will be taken to a sign up page, fill the form accurately. The sign up process is long because you will have to set up account details after filling the initial form as well as some other important information.
When you are done with it, you will be shown a new page with two options, for which, you can become a Member by depositing money to the site.
Click on Become A Member and proceed to the Me section of the dashboard and tap on Fund Wallet, an account number and bank will be shown to you. Copy the acct number and send 1,000 naira to the bank account. Wait for some minutes so the money will reflect on your dashboard.
Once it does, click on Earn, you will be greeted with two options, one to promote the businesses of brands and to perform social tasks. You can only promote advertisements directly to your Facebook or WhatsApp profile if you have up to 1,000 followers and above.
Or you can stick to performing social tasks such as liking Facebook posts, subscribing to people’s YouTube channel and many other minor tasks. The only difference is in the earnings, you tend to earn much less should you stick to performing social tasks.
Apart from completing tasks or posting adverts, another way of earning money is by referring others. According to the information on the platform, you earn up to 600 naira for each person referred.
To get your referral link or code, simply login to your account and tap on the profile icon at the top right corner, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to see your unique referral link. Copy and share to others to earn 600 naira upon account activation of the user(s).
Minimum Withdrawal
The minimum withdrawal is 100 naira and in my opinion, that is the most interesting part of the whole thing. I find it really good that the administrators considered the earning structure while setting a withdrawal threshold.
To withdraw, click on Me on your dashboard and tap on Place Withdrawals, enter amount and submit. At the time of writing this piece, payment is usually processed instantly, so there’s no wait time. Once submitted, the money will arrive in your bank account.
Final Verdict
There is no doubt as to whether gigsflix is legit or not, the bone of contention here is, is it really worth the time and effort? The answer to this question is relative but to me personally, I think gigsflix is not worth it.

When I say it isn’t worth it, I’m not saying the platform is a scam because from every indication at the moment, there is no fraudulent arrangement and it actually pays users once they submit withdrawal but there are various reasons why it’s not worth the stress and they are as follows;
1. Poor Earning Structure – after sign up and account activation, I checked out the Earn Page to see the available tasks and to my greatest dismay, I saw very poor tasks. The poorest tasks are the social tasks and the worst is that, they are the ones usually available. It is very difficult to see advert tasks that pay high amount.
If you are joining gigsflix to see high paying tasks, then better retrace your steps because the earnings of tasks that are usually available range from 4 naira to 20 naira. While on the higher tasks tab, you get to earn up to 80 naira for one task but then, these tasks are usually not available so it’s not to be considered.
2. Unavailability of Tasks – it appears gigsflix hasn’t really gotten a lot of active users and advertisers willing to work with them and this is really a disadvantage even to people trying to become members. Reason is, tasks are rarely available, even the few ones you find pay little to nothing.
This wouldn’t have been a problem assuming users registered for free but since you pay up to 1,000 naira to join, weighing the profit and loss, it’s certainly not worth it. In all honesty, it will take a lot of time and effort for a common user to break even i.e. regain the initial deposit with the poor paying tasks available on the site.
3. Registration Fee – Gigsflix offers tasks that sometimes involve viewing a YouTube video and subscribing or commenting, and most times the advertisers pay the platform for these views and comments, so I see no reason for them asking users who will still complete the tasks to pay money.
It’s not nice enough if we are being fair and in my books that a major red flag everyone should watch out for. Only deposit the registration fee if that’s a spare money you wouldn’t mind losing because I am even discouraged.
4. Takes time for completed tasks to be recorded. I completed a task and for over an hour, the amount I was supposed to earn remained in the pending balance section. I expected it to be instant or at least faster but nah, it’s not and I think, gigsflix team should look into it for better user experience.
Is Gigsflix just trash? No. There are some good sides to the story and they are as follows;
High referral bonus – as a top referrer, you will earn a lot of money from joining gigsflix because, you earn up to 600 naira for each user you being to the system. That’s about 60% of their reg fee; amazing right? Yes it is.
Instant Payment – payments are disbursed instantly. Automatic payment processing is always a plus in any platform and I’m glad gigsflix thought it wise to make payment instant.
Low minimum withdrawal – this is actually the best part. The administrators like I said earlier, considered the earning capacity while setting the minimum withdrawal threshold and that’s great. You can withdraw once you’ve hit 100 naira.
Pros
- Low minimum withdrawal
- Instant payment
- High referral bonus
- Live chat and WhatsApp support system
Cons
- Registration fee
- Task earnings takes time to be recorded
- Poor earning structure
- Unavailability of tasks
Conclusion
Gigsflix is a good and easy to use task earning website but it may not be suitable for alot of people such as those looking for faster and more active source of income. Except you’re ready to refer a lot of people, gigsflix may not be worth the effort and time.
