Chill guy Xmas Bot

Chill guy xmas is a telegram bot that claims to be rewarding loyal users with both Solana and their own crypto token, CGX. The community was launched a couple of weeks ago and since then, they’ve recorded tremendous growth amongst crypto enthusiasts. Recently, they announced a $10m airdrop to the first 200k holders of their token and this has raised eyebrows as to whether they are actually legit or scam.

So in this article, I will basically be sharing my thoughts on Chill guy Xmas telegram bot – by the end of this review, you should have come to terms with whether the community means well for users or simply a scam project launched by dubious elements to milk money from users. Without wasting time, let’s dive right into it.

About

Chill Guy Xmas as the name implies is FUN crypto community on telegram that runs a mini-app that lets users earn “chill” rewards for mining the CGX tokens and also, referring others. In my opinion, it’s the first telegram project to reward users with an existing crypto token and their own token as well.

As a user or better put miner on chill guy Xmas, you earn CGX and also, Sol for referring users and mining on a daily basis. They also announced a $10m worth of CGX airdrop to the most active and loyal users.

The target is set at 200k users who first purchase their CGX token and hodl till the airdrop date. While this appears to be all fun and interesting, there are reasons to believe that the project may not be so straightforward or legit.

Chill Guy Xmas Red Flags

There are certain red flags that you should critically examine before you proceed to purchase their so called token just to qualify for airdrop and they are as follows;

1. Unrealistic Rewards – the Amount of tokens and rewards given to users for referring others. So I’ve been hearing about chill guy Xmas for sometime and never really paid much attention due to how unserious the name sounds until two days ago. I decided to give it a try, registered and shared it to my telegram community for interested users to join, only for me to open the mini-app after sometime to meet what I’d like to call “incredible rewards“.

I was given close to 3 Solana token and you know what that means? 1 Solana is above $200, now imagine being given 3 for just referring less than 100 users? Doesn’t that look suspicious?

Additionally, I was given the CGX token in hundreds of thousands and at that moment, it struck me that, chill guy Xmas Bot may be a scam. It’s very common and unsurprising for a scam project to intentionally display amazing rewards to users just to lure them and entice them enough to spend money on purchasing their token.

It’s typical of scam projects to have an unrealistic bonus program and that is what is obtainable on chill guy xmas.

Chill guy Xmas server issues

2. Frequent Server Upgrades – the chill guy Xmas mini-app is always being upgraded and constantly having server related issues. Most times while trying to access the app, it lags very seriously and other times, it fails to load entirely. A serious and legit project wouldn’t launch on a weak server.

It’s a very common move by dubious elements to just launch a project hastily without proper planning, promise very high payout using a very weak server and as such, you shouldn’t make the mistake of purchasing their tokens before the so called airdrop.

3. The Airdrop Requirements – according to the information I saw on their official telegram community, only the first 200k holders of their CGX token will be eligible for their $10m worth of airdrop.

What this means is, for you to qualify for their potentially non-existent airdrop, you need to first of all, purchase their newly listed CGX tokens and hold in order to be recorded as one of their first 200k holders.

The risk associated with doing this is, after purchasing the tokens, chill guy Xmas may not eventually do any airdrop. Additionally, they may even end up rugging users (a common practice by fraudulent crypto tokens developers) For all we know, it could just be a ploy to get alot of users to purchase their tokens in order for them to have enough users to defraud.

Another factor is, they are not even transparent with the first 200k holders requirement. No information about the number of people who have bought so far and no stats showing what’s left of the set target. They might intentionally keep people in the dark to get as much as token holders as possible before they perpetrate scam.

The lack of transparency also means, you might even rush and purchase the token thinking you made it into the number needed, only to be disappointed when they conduct their so called $10m airdrop.

3. It’s never a positive sign for a project to list it’s crypto token before conducting an airdrop. Since the advent of telegram airdrops and mining projects, anyone that does TGE before listing often turns out to be scam in the long run.

Chill guy xmas has listed their CGX token when their proposed airdrop hasn’t taken place and there is no hope of it happening anytime soon since they’ve not given a clear date.

Final Verdict

In my opinion, Chill guy xmas Bot may be scam. I didn’t want to mention the name part but, let’s be honest; the name doesn’t even sound like something worth taking seriously. It’s true that, mini-apps seem to be a thing as long as cryptocurrency airdrops are concerned, but there’s no denying the fact that fraudulent individuals have infiltrated into the sector.

Therefore you should be careful with how you connect your main wallets to random telegram mini-apps like chill guy Xmas and also, many other ones especially, the ones requesting for you to spend money either directly or indirectly.

Is it wise to purchase their CGX token ahead of the proposed airdrop? My answer will be no. It’s an unwise decision because, they’ve shown all the signs of being a potential scam; therefore you shouldn’t spend money on such projects for your own good.

Conclusion

From my analysis, chill guy xmas is most likely not legit and as such, it’s completely unsafe to use your own money to purchase their token. There are indications that they may be working towards perpetrating a heavy crypto scam at the end.
