Cash-in App review

Cash-in is a mobile application that allows users convert their crypto assets to naira without having to pass through any stress or risk being defrauded by a vendor. After the removal of NGN pair from the p2p section of Binance and some other popular crypto exchanges, crypto-to-naira conversion “problem” arose.

Alot of crypto enthusiasts and newbies in the world of cryptocurrency started having difficulties swapping their existing assets to naira and several months later, the problem still lingered. Up till this moment, alot of people still look for vendors when they receive any crypto assets especially USDT, Bitcoin etc. Cash-in App happens to be one of the easiest ways out of this mess.

I am not disputing the fact that there are a couple of crypto exchanges that still have the option for users to trade their crypto for naira but P2p comes with its own risks coupled with the fact that, most times payment isn’t as swift as it should be.

So in this article, we will be talking about Cash-in App, what it entails, how to get started and finally, the pros and cons of using the app for your crypto to naira conversions. Without wasting more time, let’s dive right in.

About Cash-in

Cash-in as the name implies is a mobile application that automatically converts crypto to naira. When I say automatically, I mean, you as a user is not required to influence it in any way. You simply send in the crypto you have (if it’s one of their supported crypto assets), the naira equivalent will be instantly credited to your linked bank account.

It’s not really new as the app has been around for more than a year — I learnt about it several months ago and ever since, it’s made crypto conversion easy and seamless for me. It eliminates the risks and stress associated with P2p trading, makes it much easier for users to receive their money.

Supported Cryptocurrencies

There are numerous cryptocurrencies available in the world and not all of them are supported by the cash-in app. Therefore, sending an unsupported crypto asset to the address on the app would mean forfeiture of the money as it won’t be credited to them, neither would it be recoverable.

The crypto assets supported on cash-in are;

  • USDT| Bep20 & Trc20
  • Bitcoin| BTC
  • USDC| Bep20 & Trc20
  • BUSD (Deprecated)

Meaning if you copy the address of any of the cryptocurrencies and send in any amount above $1, you will be credited with the naira equivalent based on their rate at the given time.

How to Get Started

The first step to getting started is to download the cash-in app and create an account. If you’re just learning about it, then feel free to use this referral code – 7303e2784f6d as that is a way of showing support.

Cash-in KYC

After creating an account, click on the profile icon, set up your personal details and if possible i.e. if you intend completing huge transactions, complete your KYC with BVN or any government issued ID.

KYC is not compulsory at first but it’s important for people who want to complete huge transactions. Link your bank account details as well because that is where money will be sent to.

Return to the homepage and tap on any of the crypto assets, select the right network, copy the address as shown in the screenshot below.

How to copy address on Cash-in app

Head to your crypto exchange and withdraw to the address directly. Immediately after network confirmations are concluded, the naira equivalent will be credited to your bank account. If you want to be enjoying the swiftness of the transactions, then it’s best to connect either your Opay or Palmpay account.

Cash-in makes it easier for even crypto newbies to convert their tokens to naira without having to run from one vendor to the other in the name of wanting to convert crypto to naira.

How Cash-in Referral Program Works

Cash-in App referral program

It doesn’t just end at swapping or converting crypto to naira. If you also spread the message using your own referral link or code, whenever your referral completes a trade, you earn 1 Naira for every $1 spent.

So if your referrals sell up to $10,000 in a day, you earn 10,000 naira bonus for free. Therefore, the more people you refer, the higher your potential income via referrals as long as they are very active.

Is Cash-in App Legit?

Cash-in App is a legit crypto-to-naira converter. I have used the app a couple of times and also recommended it to alot of people who’s been enjoying the services till date. What makes it even better is, the fact that users don’t have to pay any charges.

Apart from the charges you pay while sending out from your crypto exchange, cash-in doesn’t charge you any fee (that I know of) in the process of converting your assets to naira.

Another interesting aspect is, how fast the transactions happen. I withdrew $9 from my Binance to USDT – Trc20 address on Cash-in and in less than two minutes the naira equivalent was credited to my bank account.

In my opinion, it makes everything easy for newbies especially, people who don’t have the intricate knowledge needed to be safe during p2p trades.

Pros Pros

Here is a summary of the very positive aspects of using cash-in for your crypto to naira conversions

  • Easy-to-use Mobile app
  • Seamless and fast transactions
  • Instant payment processing after network confirmations
  • Little to no charges
  • Verified to be Legit and has a credible presence on Social Media platforms.

Cons Cons

As the saying goes, anything with an advantage will also have a disadvantage when examined properly. Based on my analysis and few times of using the cash-in app, I found out some flaws or better put downsides and they are as follows;

1. Rate Differences – they claim to be using the black market rate while converting USDT to naira but upon closer investigation, I noticed there’s a major difference in rate. For people who are used to p2p trades while converting their crypto to naira, cash-in might not really the best option.

In as much as I can’t say their rate isn’t fair considering the quality of the service, it’s usually much less than what is obtainable in the market. Dollar to naira conversion might be 1700 and on Cash-in, it will be, 1650. This difference in rate may not go down well for some people.

2. Few Cryptocurrencies Supported – there are more than a thousand cryptocurrencies available but only few are supported on cash-in. It was 4 assets before (USDT, Bitcoin, USDC, BUSD) but now it’s just 3 giving most new users who are not so experienced less choices.

The number of cryptocurrencies supported wouldn’t be a problem for people who understand how crypto works and how to convert from whatever assets they have to stable currencies but it could be a problem for newbies in the game who have little to no knowledge of cryptocurrency but just want to swap their tokens to naira.

Conclusion

Cash-in App is certainly the go-to platform for people looking to swap their crypto to naira without being exposed to the risks associated with P2p trades and also, doesn’t want to be scammed by a random vendor.

While there are many other apps that claim to swap crypto to naira, this is arguably the best among the rest due to how fast transactions are conducted and the fact that you don’t even need to complete KYC before transacting.
