Telegram Mini-apps happen to be the big deal at the time and most crypto exchanges including giant platforms like, Binance, Bybit have decided to join the fold. A couple of days after, Binance Moonbix game was leaked beforehand, Bybit has launched its own Mini-app known as coinsweeper.
The Bybit coinsweeper is a fun telegram game that allows users earn points by strategically clicking on hidden tiles whereby, each tile clicked on, either reveals a reward or an explosive mine. The objective of the game is for the user or player as the case may be, to uncover as many tiles as possible without mistakenly clicking on the tiles with an explosive. It’s very similar to the mine game we find on some casino gaming websites, the only difference is, you get to play and play till you earn points without having to stake money.
According to the information on the opening page after starting the bot, there could be potential rewards for players who participate and earn enough points. Secondly, if a revealed coin has one bordering block that is unopened, then that could be the bomb. The game is quite complicated, so it’s best to go through the tutorial as many times as possible or screenshot the slides and go through them later on to better understand how to play the game.
Personally, I don’t have deep understanding of the game but things should get better and more understandable when it is officially announced by Bybit. It is expected that they will introduce new tasks for users to complete in order to earn more points as is the tradition on other mini-apps.

Bybit Coinsweeper is another mini-app on telegram. Judging from how supportive the Crypto exchange has been towards other telegram airdrops, there’s a high chance there could be an airdrop coming for coinsweeper players.
It’s not clear at this time but unlike what we saw on Moonbix, it’s clearly stated that there could be crypto rewards for users who play and accumulate points on the game. Most new telegram mini-apps intentionally claim their games won’t have monetary benefits until it gains enough momentum and popularity before they start talking about TGE
That’s not the case here as they’ve made it known that there will be a reward for users who play the game. No one knows if it will be an airdrop or just rewards in other tokens. An evidence backing the possibility of an airdrop is the fact that, users are made to connect their User ID as soon as they start playing the game.
If there’s no intentions of making the game financially rewarding, there wouldn’t be an option for users to add their UID.

There are certain reasons why I find the coinsweeper game interesting and believe many other people would;
1. Reward Possibility; unlike what is obtainable on other mini-apps, it’s stated on the introductory page that, there could be crypto rewards for players. At least users have something to look forward to while playing the game.
2. Interesting Referral Program; users are given free 4,000 points each for referring people. This is highly rewarding, so people with huge following will have a lot to benefit from it.
3. Available to Residents of Many Countries; unlike what we saw on Moonbix, the Bybit coinsweeper game is available for users in most countries of the world. Nigerians for one are eligible for the project and with how Bybit has been at the forefront of enlisting tokens from other mini-apps, there’s a high chance the game will be rewarding for players.
4. Unlimited shot at playing the game. No matter how many times you lose while playing the game, you will still be allowed to continue trying till you understand. There is no limit to the number of times one can retry and that’s cool.
Cons
- Difficult game play – to be honest, the game is quite difficult. It is much harder than the typical mine game we know.
- Bybit hasn’t announced any affiliation with the game though users are directed to follow their official announcement page on telegram. A formal announcement would have been highly desirable.
- The tutorials are quite confusing and would take more than just first glance to understand how best to play the game. Bybit should have made the game much easier, no one wants to spend hours trying to understand any game.
Conclusion
The Bybit coinsweeper game could be a big deal in the future. At the moment it’s just an entertaining game that could turn out to be rewarding to users who persevere. The only issue is, the difficulty in playing the game and so far, the fact that the crypto exchange hasn’t formally announced any affiliation to the game. Hopefully, this will be done in coming weeks or days.
