1. The High Paying Tasks Involve Spending Money to Subscribe to MTN/Airtel services – at first I didn’t believe what I was seeing, until I proceeded to complete the tasks.

The high paying tasks had about 250 naira tagged to them and the condition was for me to be connected to MTN as browsing network before clicking on the link to complete the task. I clicked on it and the page I was brought to prompted me to subscribe to a service from the network which costs about 100 naira.

So I completed the task and 100 naira airtime was deducted from my MTN line to complete a task that was to fetch me 250 naira. It doesn’t end there, other high paying tasks also involve spending from your own airtime balance.

What am I driving at? If you look at it critically, you will easily notice that there is no gain in completing tasks on gaingalaxy. The so called high paying tasks involve spending your own airtime, coupled with the fact that up to 3,000 naira was spent as registration fee to sign up, what then is the gain? Nothing.

2. High Registration Fee – before you can start completing tasks to “earn” on gaingalaxy, you have to pay 3,000 naira to the system. Recall where I mentioned that, it’s very distinct from other task earning sites? This is exactly what I was talking about.

All the months and years I’ve been participating in task websites, I’ve never seen one as expensive as this and I see it as a red flag that users shouldn’t take for granted. Reason is, it will take time and extra expenses on your end before you hit the minimum threshold, so why bother joining?

3. High withdrawal threshold – considering the earning capacity, I was expecting the minimum withdrawal threshold to range between 1,000 to 2,000 naira; but to my greatest dismay, it’s 5,000 naira.

The earning capacity is not that significant, apart from the few high paying tasks (250 naira), the remaining tasks fetch very little money. The administrators should have put it into consideration before coming up with a threshold.

Higher minimum threshold and high registration fee are common indications that a website is scam or it has ulterior motive. Therefore, you should think it through properly before deciding to embark on the journey to sign up. Like the saying goes, “a bird at hand is worth more than many in the bush”. 

4. Outrageous Referral Bonus – I know that referrers are pertinent to the growth of any platform but a very high referral bonus often changes the trajectory of a platform and makes it a referral thing. Additionally, paying referrers a whopping 2,000 naira for each referral will certainly take a toll on the sustainability of the platform.

Incase you didn’t know why people are massively promoting the platform, the motivation behind that, is not that gaingalaxy is the best platform but due to the high referral incentive.

Sticking to normal tasks could make it nearly impossible for you to attain the minimum withdrawal threshold.

Are there any good sides or pros of joining gaingalaxy? I don’t think so but the few I noticed is the fact that users can withdraw at anytime, secondly the high referral bonus certainly favours certain individuals who have big community to convince. Though it doesn’t have any benefit for the user being referred.

Gaingalaxy is not really worth it from my analysis and what I’ve seen on the website so far. It might be paying people at the time of writing this article, but the indications that could have made them legit is lacking.
