Newsprofit review

Newsprofit.ng is an online earning website that was recently launched and it claims to be out there for the sake of helping people beat poverty by providing a read-to-earn payment model. But before we get deeper into the topic or even talk about it too long, is newsprofit.ng legit or scam? The truth is that, newsprofit is not just a scam but also a pure waste of time and I’ll tell you my reasons for saying so in this article.

In this article, we will be reviewing, newsprofit.ng, an online news publication website with a provision for users to earn when they read news and also when they complete minor tasks. It’s relatively new, so people are into the website full time with hopes of cashing out in the said date of withdrawal, but it’s clearly a waste of time and there are myriad of red flags that made me say so and we will examine all shortly.

About Newsprofit

As the name implies, Newsprofit is meant for users to earn money from reading news, commenting and also sharing sponsored posts on social media. Now the sponsored posts part is actually the most interesting and also dangerous. In the sense that, users are given a particular group, a specific post about Newsprofit and asked to post about it on the group compulsorily before they are rewarded with the bonus for that tasks.

As funny as it may sound, this is not the first or even second time I’m seeing a website like Newsprofit and each time I see such websites, there’s always an urge for me to review them. Share my thoughts for others to read and stay away from them because they are just a bunch of spam sites that never pay the users.

How to Earn

How to earn on Newsprofit

Like I said, there are three main ways of earning from the site and they are as follows;

  • Read to Earn – when you read news, you earn 50 naira for doing so. There are numerous posts on the site to read.
  • Commenting – commenting on a post after reading also comes with its own rewards. You earn 50 naira for doing so.
  • Referring – referring new users to start completing tasks as well also fetches the user free 250 naira and also boosts your position on the leaderboard.
  • Sponsored Posts – when you share the Facebook sponsored post, you will be credited with 500 naira. This is the most rewarding task and also the most tasky.

Sign Up Process

Newsprofit.ng sign up process

To sign up on Newsprofit, simply copy the ur – Newsprofit.ng and paste on a browser with your data connection on.

When the page loads, proceed to fill the sign up form and then when logged into your newly created account, you will be given free 1500 with some data bonus. The initial rewards are as useless as the money you will earn afterwards from completing the tasks.

Tap on the three lines at the top right corner and then select either read to earn or watch ads to earn money. It depends on the one you wish to do.

After reading, you will be credited with 50 naira, comment to increase earnings. On the dashboard, you will also find a referral link to share.

Once someone registers with your link, you will be credited with 250 naira and it continues unlimitedly, the more you refer.

Is Newsprofit.ng Legit?

Newsprofit is not legit in any way. As a matter of fact, it’s a waste of time for very good reasons. Though you don’t have to deposit money before you will be allowed to participate or start accumulating the vain online currency, there’s every likelihood that the site is scam and not legit.

Firstly being the fixed payment dates. According to the information on the site, you can only withdraw and be paid on the 5th and 22nd of every month. Thats a usual trick from similar sites I’ve been a member of in the past. It’s done to ensure users engage and view alot of their adverts in anticipation of receiving money only to be ghosted when time for payment comes.

The owner of Newsprofit is only after earning from the terrible adverts and pop ups you see while navigating on the site and not after helping you earn money. You may decide to not to take what I’m saying seriously but time will tell.

Second reason why I think it’s a waste of time and scam is the fact that the minimum withdrawal is fixed at a very high amount. You need to earn 20,000 naira before you can place withdrawal. How many legit sites makes 20,000 naira their minimum withdrawal? It’s done to make you engage and do alot of activities on the site just to reach minimum withdrawal.

They are aware that your efforts on the site means more money for them via ad revenue. So if they brainwash you into reading alot of news, commenting and watching ads just to meet up with the minimum threshold, they are doing you disservice while benefitting alot from it.

Why Is It A Waste of Time?

  • High minimum withdrawal
  • Fixed payment dates
  • Very annoying pop up ads that make the site very difficult to navigate. It’s done to enrich themselves at your own detriment.
  • No payment proof at the moment and there’s every chance you will never see a legit payment proof from any user. The few payment proof you see people parading to market the platform is not real. Either the marketer is part of the admin crew or the person posting is just after the imaginary referral bonus.

Final Thoughts

Newsprofit.ng is not a legit website and I think it’s being over stated already in this article. If you read it from beginning to end, then there will be no confusion as to why you shouldn’t even participate in the first instance.

There are no indications that the site will pay anybody and I believe the Newsprofit review has done justice to this fact. But if you feel like trying it out regardless of the clear red flags, then you can go ahead but do us a favor and drop a comment after the payment date exceeds to educate others.
