It’s basically a referral platform where users promote their links to others in order to “earn money“. According to the information provided on the page, users earn up to 25,000 naira when they refer 100 visitors. Is it really worth the time and effort? Well, the answer is NO for various reasons.

In this article, we will go over all there is to know about telecom reward otherwise known as telecomreward.654.live, how it works and also, my take on whether it is a legit earning website or not. In recent times, we’ve seen the launch of numerous so-called earning platforms which promises to reward users for completing simple tasks such as viewing short videos and watching sponsored ads but most of them don’t fulfill their own end of the bargain.

Yet, somehow people still find their ways back to sites like this due to the mind-blowing bonuses promised by the administrators. Our goal is to ensure users don’t end up wasting their time viewing ads and completing tasks and at the end be ghosted by these platforms.

About Telecom Reward

How does telecom reward work

Telecom Reward as the name implies is an online earning website where users get to earn money and airtime by referring others. The site is so basic that, users don’t have to create any account when they access it as there is no option to register or sign in.

Upon clicking the link, you will be taken to the main page where you will be shown your account referral link and also the option to withdraw money. New users are given 5,000 naira bonus upon accessing the site using a referral link and then expected to build their balance further.

When it comes to the ways of earning on the platform, the only way is by referring others. The end goal of the owner or administrator is to get more visitors which converts to money for him or her and the users are expected to do the bidding.

You open the webpage, copy your referral link and start sharing it to others to earn 250 naira for each visitor and 25,000 naira for every 100 visitors i.e. People who access telecom reward using your referral link.

When was Telecom Reward Launched?

Due to the rate at which the website was being promoted by people, I decided to look up the domain name registration details on WHOIS and here is what I found below;

Firstly I discovered the main URL is 654.live, the one being used to run the so called earning site is a sub-domain of the real domain name but generally, the site was registered on the 2nd of August, 2024 but it appears to have taken the current shape recently.

Is telecomreward.654.live Real or Fake?

Telecom reward review

Telecom reward is not legit. It’s a spam website created for the sole purpose of generating ad revenue for the owner. Upon opening the site, you will be greeted with countless adverts especially, pop up ads that interfere with navigation of the website; which clearly shows the motive of whoever is handling the website.

That explains why the main goal is to get as many visitors as possible via the sham referral program. As a user therefore, you are doing their bidding, helping whoever runs the site make more money without hopes of receiving any money from them.

Apart from the obvious, there are more significant reasons why participation in telecom reward could just be an outright waste of time and resources;

1. Spammy Domain structure – domain names with a number are often regarded as spam sites not to mention, sites running on a sub domain. The url of telecom reward; a platform that prides itself to be paying out 25,000 naira to users for bringing visitors is “telecomreward.654.live“. What message does it send to you? I mean look at it objectively.

Can a poorly structured and cheap domain name like this fulfill any money promises? The answer is no. If it was a serious project, whoever is in charge would have at least hosted it on a standalone domain name that looks less spammy. This is just a spam site littered with ads with an ultimate goal in mind, MAKING MONEY off of users.

2. Unrealistic Payout Structure – they claim users can earn money from visits and hits on their referral links. What this means is, all the people you intend to refer have to do is click on your link. Once the page loads, you get credited with 250 naira alongside the 5,000 naira given to you upon registration.

This arrangement makes it very clear to discerning minds that it’s just a waste of time. Their main goal is to generate revenue from the visits of your so called referrals. Whoever made the website did a shabby job, with no sign up form or dashboard.

3. No valid payment proof from REAL users – I am sure you must have seen one of the numerous fake payment proofs being flaunted by people who are unaware of their scam tactics. What owners of websites like this do, is to keep flashing around fake payment proofs from themselves to make people believe they are actually legit.

It’s all fallacy. No one has been paid by the platform despite the fact that it’s been around for months now. All the payment table and details you see on the website are fabricated. They are make-believe; all in the bid to keep ignorant/unsuspecting users engaged.

4. Annoying Pop up ads – real sites that pay users for completing tasks don’t fix ads on their pages as much as telecom reward. Every click on the site leads to a new pop up or new tab being opened behind your present tab. Apart from the fact that these pop up ads annoy users and make the whole website difficult to navigate, they can also lead to installation of a malware app or software into one’s device.

More reasons why you should be careful with the way you scroll around on websites like this. Pop up ads are usually spammy and as such, a website littered with ads like that should not be visited often, let alone promoted.

Pros Pros

None, there is nothing beneficial about telecom reward. No one has been paid and from indications, payment isn’t happening anytime soon, so the bonuses are just figures that have no actual value.

Cons Cons

  • Spammy Domain structure typical of sites that waste users’ time.
  • No valid payment proof or evidence from real users.
  • Unrealistic payout structure
  • Annoying Pop up ads capable of causing malware

Conclusion

Telecom reward is not a legit earning site. As a matter of fact, there is no reason to even regard it as an earning platform. Basically, it’s just a website created by some fraudulent individual to milk enough ad revenue at the expense of hardworking users who are optimistic about getting paid.

All indications point to the fact that telecom reward is not legit, so it’s best to steer clear of the site to save yourself the stress and fruitless time wasting.
